Human hair will look natural as long as the color matches. The half wig/fall is clipped under a layer of hair. If your hair isn't long enough it won't cover the clip.

yes you can there is a company called "Locks of Love" i am a hairstylist and we did this regularly first it must be clean,dry, and in a tight ponytail at the point(usually nape of the neck)dont braid it. it must stay straight and wrap a string or several ponytails around the hair all the way down. i think the minimum length is 10 inches, not colored,bleached,permed only healthy and placed in plastic bag.

Also, a good hairbrush or comb is supposed to distribute natural oil throughout your hair which requires a lot of contact with each hair, this is naturally a bit damaging to your real hair, but the conditioning you get from redistributing your natural hair oils more then makes up for it. Of course there is the additional result of getting rid of all those knots.

The only purpose in brushing a wig is to untangled it, there is no need to make it healthier; the less you do the better off your wig will be. (Also I am pretty sure they treat the wigs with a variety of chemicals to keep it looking healthy and beautiful, and you certainly don't want to scrape those away!) You might only need a wig brush, but you probably should get a wig comb, after all, you spent all of that cash on a real hair wig, the few extra bucks could make a difference. I would go to a nearby hairdresser's and ask them where to buy the best combs and brushes, even if some are sold through the same distributer that you got your wig from.

You always want to use a sulfate free shampoo on human hair extentions. I like Pureology or Enjoy product lines. L'anza just came out with a new product called Healing Moisture Tamanu Cream Shampoo and Kukui Nut Conditioner. It's sulfate free and works great on my extensions. Then I always use CHI Silk Infusion as a leave in.

I can't comment on how you will be able to style your hair for the best longevity as I don't know the quality of the hair you've purchased. I always tell people who want to wear hair extensions that it's best to invest in top quality hair because it works easily and you can wear it for up to a year. If your hair is not the best quality.....it may have mis-matched cuticle or be over processed Asian hair........you will be more limited as to the styling and it will tangle horribly. It you don't have too many problems with tangles......then tease it till it stands up! :o)

Wash them once a week....but you must condition them EVERYDAY. there is no oils going to the end of the hairshaft. So conditioner will help keep them soft. If you don't condition them enough you will have scarecrow hair....and you don't want that.

Use a straightner such as GHD's that are designed to style on a low heat. A lot of straightners are too hot, check the settings on your straightners and if you can change the heat then lower it.
