Human hair is around $80 per... bundle (I don't know what the unit name for hair is). A full head of extentions would be at least three or four bundles, and it takes most of a day to put in (at an easy $50 per hour for the hairdresser)...

So... quite simply, it usually costs LOTS.

You can try shopping for your own hair at beauty supply stores, and maybe find a beautician in training who needs the practice...

Synthetic hair isn't really TOO bad, and when you consider that a bundle costs $10 or less... it becomes an attractive option.
