You can try putting frizz ease serum in you hair before you straighten it. I would put it on every strand right before the iron is used. There are alot of different products out there that will protect your hair from heat damage. The best are the serums from hair salons. Can't think of the names. Sorry. There is one spray by matrix that is pretty good. The only other thing I can suggest is to give your hair a rest once and awhile. Don't do it as often and condition the **** out of it.

Protect your investment!!!! Buy professional products. I promise you'll see a huge difference. Try S Factor by TiGi. It is expensive, but SOOOO worth it. I especially like the Lusterizer...It's about $26.00, but you only use a tiny bit so it lasts for ever. Also, it works so well, I dont have to shampoo my hair everyday. I pin my hair up for my daily shower, and when I get out, I just fluff my hair with the blowdryer, and it's still prefectly straight from when I straightened it the day before! And it stays super soft and shiny!

You are literally burning the hair, so try a lower heat setting and you don't want too much product on you weave then you will not have any movement and it will get all heavy. So try a light spray like olive oil hair spray in the green can spray lightly still and try trimming the ends every so often keep in mind even though it's not yours it's still human hair and will damage easily if you look close you proably have tons of split ends too, try washing in the shower with a conditionging shampoo if its a sew-in make sure your braid are dry after. good luck!

It depends on what type of human hair it is, the finer the hair pieces the more easily it can be damaged. Is it even real hair :s my mate had weaves and they weren't real even though the salon said they were.

Use a a specific shampoo designed for damaged hair. Before touching your hair use a cream ideal for heat defence then brush and style, before hair straightening i would recommand using TRESemme iron defence that can be used on dry hair rather than damp hair. then finish with a glossing serem.

Make sure to use your dryer on a med heat rather that red hot and aim the nozzle downwards rather than facing front on. When straightening don't hold it on a piece of hair for longer than ten secs. Use a straightner such as GHD's that are designed to style on a low heat. A lot of straightners are too hot, check the settings on your straightners and if you can change the heat then lower it.

Hope this helps and good luck :D
